The idea of entrepreneurship interests a sizable segment of business students, as many seek to acquire a Bachelor’s in Business to further their understanding of operating a business.<\/p>\n

UBI’s Community Coaching Initiative<\/h3>\n

UBI also offers coaching programs for students interested in start-up mentoring or professional development. Faculty members are highly involved in coaching communities such as the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), providing real-world experience to interested students.<\/p>\n

Many students under our coaching initiative have gone on to intern at exclusive multinationals, while some have gone on to create their own projects.<\/p>\n

One of which is Thibault Jacquemart, who started his own company called Lilo Health.<\/p>\n

Lilo Health assists nephrologists in keeping their patients engaged and monitored in between consultations by efficiently prioritising those who require immediate attention. The platform allows nephrologists to manage a significantly larger number of patients, up to ten times more than previously possible and enables them to prevent the onset of kidney failure in patients where it was previously not feasible.<\/p>\n

Thibault was motivated and inspired by various factors to convert his university experience into a real business plan. One such factor was his fascination with the healthcare industry, which has a direct impact on people’s lives. He found building a business in healthcare to be a satisfying and intellectual challenge.<\/p>\n

The entrepreneurial experience provided him with a certain level of freedom and the opportunity to promote a product with a purpose. Although the technical innovation is novel, it is the business model that represents the true innovation.<\/p>\n
